Thoroughly Impressed! I have been thinking about an update to my business attire. Like most people I have a bunch of clothes in my closet that are so far out of fashion they should not be worn in public (think pleated pants with cuffs). I stopped in to check out this store because I heard they had stuff right off the local film sets. They have a surprisingly big selection and I was happy to see that they usually have a range of sizes. I tried on a bunch of different choices and realized Jim really knows his stuff. I was so impressed with his level of service and attention to detail that I felt compelled to write a review. Swing by when you have a chance, you’ll definitely learn something about current fashion and find a good deal as well. ~ Todd

Simply put, Stych Inc. has the highest quality men's clothing around. (Ventura and L.A. counties) Jim is a haberdasher extraordinaire! I wear his suits, sports coats, shirts and ties every day at work. And virtually EVERY day, I receive some sort of a compliment for doing so. I was in a meeting with higher ups recently and the Director of my Agency (County of Ventura) publicly commented on my "matching attire." I've said it before, Stych is NOT a discount warehouse type place. But when you purchase fine quality, such as his, you not only look sharp--every day!--your pieces last a LONG time. I have purchased two suits at Stych Inc. in the past couple of years, coming with all the trimmings: 2 shirts and 2 ties and pocket squares with each, and also bought a pair of timeless wingtips at an incredible price. I have worn all of those items hundreds of days on Hollywood productions, mostly as Background, as well as for other work and throughout my daily life. Jim Stych is as knowledgeable and professional as anyone in the business and the prices are amazing. He will make you look great and you will enjoy the experience with him. They may even be able to do an alteration on the spot. (Who still does that ?) These are good and honest people who care about and take care of their staff. Found this gem of a place after researching for suits locally and reading up on a few reviews. I called to get general information at first and was impressed right away by the customer service over the phone. I was assured I'd be taken care of on my visit so I immediately booked an appointment with Rosie, who happened to be the person I was speaking with on the phone. Long story short, I got the quality suit that I wanted and for a reasonable price without breaking the bank. My suit was tailored to fit precise and upon picking it up on the day it was ready, I tried it on one last time before it went back in the suit bag. During those two visits both Rosie and Randy were awesome and I can't recommend their services enough. Overall, Stych is a great place for all your suit or attire needs and most importantly, customer service is top notch. Definitely recommend! ~ Romel F

Needed alterations on a Matron of Honor dress. I didn't initially contact Stych bc I thought they only worked with mens suits/clothing but inquired and got a response almost immediately! I was told that they do accept women's alterations. I went in the next day and had AMAZING customer service from all I came in contact with! I dropped off my dress on Tuesday 2/13 with a completion date of Friday 2/23 (so 8 business days, 10 actual days) with 3 seperate alterations...bringing up the shoulders, tighten up the under arm seams and shortened the hem. I got a text msg that the dress was ready by Thursday 2/15! Once I went in to try on and pick up the dress, again IMMACULATE customer service! Dress fit AMAZINGLY!!! I could not have asked for the job to be done better!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! They have all of my, my husband, and son's future business!!!! ~ Lisa P

Everything about Stych Oxnard is exceptional. From the moment I set foot in the store I could see the level of detail and care everywhere I looked. The quality of their merchandise is exceptional and the service I received was fantastic. I needed several items altered and after using other tailors I was a bit nervous because of the bad experiences I have had in the past with my alterations coming out all wrong - too short, too baggy, too tight. NOT SO with Stych - every piece I had altered by their expert tailors fit perfectly. They have now become my "go to" for alterations! Jim is amazing and enthusiastic at finding the right suits to help you truly look like an EXECUTIVE at very reasonable prices. He has a HUGE ASSORTMENT of executive suits and blazers for men. He also has a very large variety of accessories including shirts, shoes, ties, vests, cufflinks and even underwear. In the end, He will make you look like a Rock Star while feeling VERY COMFORTABLE too. He even offers suits that can save your life in an active shooter situation. I'll have to say me stich was awesome . Last minute we went so many places looking for a suit for a wedding.was referred to Hollywood outlet store in Oxnard on a Thursday night they close at 6:00 pm we got in at 5:45 pm explained that we had a formal wedding on Saturday. Not only did he take the the time to measure me he had the suit done by Friday and tailored to me and the price was well worth it the price I paid with a three piece suit would have been a coat at some of these other places. I'm not a suit wearing person all the time but I would highly recommend Hollywood outlet for your next suit I'm going back for another ~ George E

In short? Absolutely phenomenal store ^_^ I've used their services twice so far, and each time I've walked away content with the service and tailoring provided when looking for a suit! Everyone here knows their stuff and know just what go recommend for any occasion! Both times I needed a suit for a wedding [one as a groomsman, one as a guest] and I've walked out with a suit that'll last me for a very long while. 10/10, highly highly recommend! My personal experience shopping there was surprisingly amazing. The Lady was amazing at her job and know how to do her job properly and professionally. Very helpful and knowledgeable. She knew what I want and like. Pick out the right suit that fit me perfectly and make me look good. I was shock and amazed. They have many options to pick and choose. Randy was the Gentleman that helped me out. I went in with very little time and short notice to get what I needed. This style concierge pulled it off!!! He masterfully pieced together a suit and gave very good insight on accessories and styling. He got it tailored within 12 hours which is unheard of! I initially came to Stych to have an old suit altered, but left the store with two additional, brand-new Italian-made 3-piece suits, two shirts, belt, a tie and a new pair of dress shoes.... for a very reasonable price! Service was very friendly and professional. Proprietor Jim Stych gave me lots of great tips for mixing and matching different combinations of shirts, vests and ties. They had a great variety of suits to buy or to rent I did my wedding suit and accessories there and my sons suit for Homecoming. And they have all the colors or can order anything you want custom piecing whatever outfit. That’s what I did for my wedding. There wasn’t anything they couldn’t get or resource to get my outfit how I wanted it. Plus they have a great team. I just never walked out disappointed and that’s had now a days. ~ mario l

It’s a one stop shop to choose anywhere from impressive business attire to a formal Gala event ~ weddings, proms, etc. Jim was very knowledgeable and helpful in directing me toward the right style and fit. I would 100% recommend Stych. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and were in desperate need of tailoring for a suit. Randy and Juan made us feel welcome, helped get my fiancé (now husband’s) suit ready for our wedding the next day.
